Help & Support

Need help with Planner? We're here for you.

Getting started

Do I need an account to use Planner?

No. Planner works fully on your device with no account or sign-in required. Everything you create is yours to use straight away.

Where is my data stored?

In normal use, everything you create in Planner - events, To-Dos, visits, notes, photos, and reminders - is stored locally on your device and is not synced to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Does Planner track me or sell my data?

No. Location is processed on your device to detect arrivals at your saved places and is not sent to our servers. Planner shows no ads and we do not sell your personal data. The only things we receive are subscription status from the App Store, crash reports, and anonymous usage analytics, none of which are linked to your identity. Our Privacy Policy lists every provider.

How do I find help inside the app?

Open Planner and tap the More tab. Under Help & Support you can report an issue, request a feature, rate the app, and open our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Reminders & location

I'm not receiving reminders

Reminders are delivered as notifications, so Planner needs notification permission. Go to your iPhone Settings > Notifications > Planner and make sure Allow Notifications is on.

How do I enable automatic visit tracking?

Planner can automatically detect when you arrive at your saved places if you grant location access. Go to your iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Planner and choose Always for the most reliable background detection.

An arrival wasn't detected

Automatic visit detection relies on your device's location services and is a best-effort system. Short stops, weak GPS signal, or being indoors can occasionally mean an arrival isn't picked up. For the most reliable results, set location permission to "Always" and keep a reasonable mobile or Wi-Fi signal.

Planner Pro & subscriptions

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store. Open the App Store, tap your profile, then tap Subscriptions to change or cancel your plan.

I already paid but don't have Pro on this device

Open the Pro screen in Planner and choose Restore Purchases. Your entitlement is tied to your Apple ID, so make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

What happens to my content if a free limit applies?

If a limit applies to content you've already created, that content is never deleted. It stays on your device and becomes available to you again if you subscribe to Pro, or if we raise or remove the limit.
